Double arm frames enable you to power through large areas such as walls and ceilings at a faster rate than standard 9" rollers, making them a favourite with professional decorators. This trade quality frame is suitable for 12" rollers and features a screw fitting for extension poles (it can't be used without a pole). It is cast from a mould as a single piece for strength and durability, enabling it to be constructed from lightweight aluminium rather than steel to reduce fatigue, especially important during extended use and when painting ceilings. Unlike double arm frames that are angled, the flat construction means you get maximum purchase on the surface for the effort you put in, maximising the amount of paint the roller lays down, improving painting efficiency and saving time. Attaching the roller to the frame is simple, using either pins that slot into the roller's end caps or the full width bar that goes through the roller and comes out of the other end. Using pins or bar is simply down to personal choice; they screw into the frame for a secure fit during use and to ensure they're not lost when the frame is not in use.
