This camshaft does not fit Fox Body roller engines or any factory roller block. The 31-602-5 cam features 287 and 304 degrees advertised duration, 235 and 249 degrees duration at .050, .500 and .486 lift, and a tight 107-degree lobe separation angle. These specifications create significant valve overlap for the high-impact Mutha’ Thumpr idle while improving cylinder scavenging and delivering strong mid-range torque. With an operating range of 2,200 to 6,100 RPM, this camshaft transforms the character of a flat tappet 302 by increasing throttle response, acceleration, and overall performance.
